Participation in AABA activities offers a broad range of networking opportunities to expand your network and client base. The AABA hosts meetings and other social gatherings for members of the Albanian-American legal community to promote networking, mentorship, and a spirit of cooperation across multiple levels of the legal profession. The AABA also partners with other Massachusetts bar associations to organize events for members of the legal community.
Whether you are beginning your legal career, expanding your knowledge, or starting your own law practice, the AABA sponsored events can help hone your skills and provide a platform to share your legal expertise. The AABA offers symposiums and roundtable discussions in salient areas of law including immigration law, family law, as well as human rights and civic engagement related topics.
Giving back not only helps to strengthen our community but it is also a great networking opportunity. Through its philanthropic efforts, the AABA helps some of the most vulnerable children in Albania. The AABA also contributes through volunteering efforts to various causes and organizations including Women’s Lunch Place, Christmas in the City, the Annual Lawyers Have Hearts 5K, Charles River Cleanup, Greater Boston Food Bank, Alzheimer’s Walk, and Cradles to Crayons.
Success in the legal career begins much earlier than the passage of the bar exam. The AABA offers a range of opportunities, from securing summer clerkships to assistance with reviewing resumes as well as preparation for job interviews.
Increasing and broadening the visibility of the Albanian-American legal community across the United States and providing an opportunity for students and lawyers located outside of Massachusetts to join an Albanian-American bar association.
