The 2014 recipient of the AABA Albanian School & orphanage supplies Project is Këlcyrë, Albania
The first school chosen as the recipient of funds by the AABA Albanian School & Orphanage Project was the Elementary and Middle School: Kamber Benja in Këlcyrë, Albania. Kamber Benja has almost four hundred bright, intelligent and eager to learn students ages 6 to 14. The school is located in Këlcyrë, a municipality in the Përmet District, Southern Albania with a population of approximately 5,714 (2010).
With the help of Arbër Muhameti, a special friend of AALS and Borana Hajnaj, an Albanian American Law Society Board Member, AALS was able to connect with Kamber Benja Elementary and Middle School in Permët. Arbër is close friends with Mr. Androkli Dorri, the Former Assistant Principal (who is now a teacher) of Kamber Banja School. Arbër and his friends graciously purchased the supplies in Albania and delivered them to the school in January 2015. Many thanks to Arbër! Also, thank you to Alyssa Tochka , Alexis Tochka , Elise Loukas , Redi Kasollja , Michelle Limaj and other AALS members for helping to make this project such a major success!

This shows that we knew how to educate and reflect our deeply held values to our students. There is nothing more rewarding than to see students that you educated and who no matter how far they go, they do not forget the school where they learned their ABCs but they seek to advance the name of the school, they want their school to give to the future generations a good quality of education. Once again THANK YOU, our appreciations and respect on behalf of all students and teachers of this school to all its friends, wherever they may be.
